Gymvanta Privacy Policy

Gymvanta provides gym membership, fitness, nutrition, trainer, booking, payment, progress, and communication features. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Gymvanta member application.

Information we collect

• Account information such as name, email address, phone number, member ID, and login credentials.
• Fitness and health-related information you provide, including goals, age, sex, height, weight, measurements, nutrition preferences, meal and workout activity, and progress records.
• Photos you choose to upload for your profile or fitness progress.
• Membership, booking, check-in, payment status, transaction reference, and invoice records. Full card or bank credentials are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Gymvanta.
• Messages sent through trainer chat, notification preferences, push notification tokens, and basic app activity needed to operate the service.

How information is used

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide gym and trainer services, personalize workouts and nutrition, process memberships and payments, send service notifications, support users, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Sharing and service providers

Information is shared only as needed with the member's gym and authorized staff, trainers selected by the member, and service providers that support hosting, storage, email, messaging, notifications, and payment processing. We do not sell personal information.

Security and retention

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and access is restricted by authenticated roles. We retain account data while the account is active and delete associated account data after an authenticated deletion or verified deletion request, except where limited records must be retained to meet legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, or security obligations. Backup copies may remain temporarily until routine backup rotation completes.

Your choices

You can update profile information in the app. You can permanently delete your account from Profile > Delete Account. You can also use the account deletion request page.

Children

Gymvanta is not directed to children under 13. A gym may require guardian consent for younger members as required by applicable law.
